Uganda Tourist Visa

Eligibility
- Must have a valid passport with at least six months of validity from the date of entry.
- Must not be a prohibited immigrant.
- Must have a valid return ticket.
Required Documents
- Completed online visa application form.
- Scanned copy of a valid passport bio-data page.
- A recent passport-sized photograph.
- Proof of travel itinerary and accommodation booking.
- Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
Application Process
- Visit the official Uganda e-Visa portal to start the application.
- Fill out the online form and upload all required documents.
- Pay the visa fee online.
- Wait for the approval letter, which will be sent to your email.
- Present the approval letter and original documents upon arrival in Uganda.
Uganda Business Visa
For individuals conducting business, attending conferences, or seeking investment opportunities in Uganda.
Eligibility
- Valid passport with at least six months of validity.
- A letter of invitation from a company or organization in Uganda.
- Proof of business purpose (e.g., conference registration, meeting schedule).
Required Documents

- Two recent passport-sized photographs.
- Letter of invitation from the host company in Uganda.
- Business letter from your home country employer.
Application Process
- Start the application on the Uganda e-Visa portal.
- Upload all required documents, including the invitation letter.
- Pay the visa processing fee.
- Receive your approval letter via email and present it at the port of entry.
Uganda Student Pass
For individuals who have been accepted into a recognized educational institution in Uganda.
Eligibility
- Acceptance letter from a Ugandan school or university.
- Proof of financial support for the duration of the studies.
- Must possess a valid passport.
Required Documents
- Valid passport.
- Official letter of acceptance from the educational institution.
- Academic transcripts and certificates.
- Proof of financial means (e.g., scholarship letter, bank statements).
- Police clearance certificate from your home country.
Application Process
- Obtain an acceptance letter from a Ugandan institution.
- Apply for the student pass online through the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control.
